If you find Kate, the voice of Comfort talking too slow or fast, you can make her talk faster or slower without changing the pitch of her voice, ie she wont sound like a chipmunk
Use Comfigurator > Voice Settings, adjust the slider on Voice Menu Speed, and  do a selective write to Comfort
This does not affect the speed of playback of the recorded messages in Voicemail
The "Message Speed" setting immediately below wil change the speed of the recorded messages

I have changed the Voice Settings | Voice Menu Speed and downloaded selectively to Comfort but it makes no difference to my Kate's voice. I have shifted over my Comfigurator to version 3.1 and switched to having a cclx file instead of ccl.

Now when I listen to the Voice menus it sounds like Kate is  v e r y  s p a c e d  o u t !

what do you mean, I thought you said it had no effect?
Changing the speed of  the voice menu should do so without changing the picth of the voice

Should have made myself clearer.
Kate was spaced out so I went to the Voice Settings | Voice Menu Speed and it made no difference.

I have now gone back to my Comfigurator 2 ccl and reloaded that into Comfort and the voice is OK. Looks to me that there is a problem when I take my ccl and convert it to a cclx file with Comfigurator 3. Would appreciate some help to sort this out so I can upgrade to Comfigurator 3.
