Hi,
Comfort has reliably informed me on several occasions when power has failed. What would be nice is for it to call me when the power is restored as well....
I see that their is an option for a response under Miscellaneous alarms - AC restore response but I can't work out how to create a response which will dial-out and advise me that AC power has been restored...
Any help appreciated
Nigel

You can create a response to be placed in AC Restore Response with the following action inside:
Limit Dialout 3
This action will dial out to the programmed telephone number 3 when the AC power is restored.
You can find this 'Limit Dialout to Phone Settings' action under Security tab of the Response Wizard.

Sorry, correction to my previous post.
I've got it wrong. Limit Dialout action will NOT cause the Comfort to dial out.
I tested with UCM/GSM to sms out in my previous post which is an automatic feature of UCM/GSM to sms out when a trouble alarm (like power failure, low battery, phone trouble, or RS485 comms failure) is restored.
The only thing to cause Comfort to dialout is by setting it under Alarm Type so what you can do is to create one alarm type to dialout to you in case of AC power restore. Here is one way:
In Comfigurator go to Security Type Settings > Alarm Types.
Select unused alarm type e.g. Alarm Type 28.
You may rename the alarm type to: PowerRestore.
Check the Dial Out checkbox.
Check the dial indexes accordingly.
Select the Alarm Phrase: Restore.
Then create a new response with an action of: AlarmUser Power Restore; this action can be found at Response Wizard > Security > Do Alarm Type, report User.
Lastly, put the newly created response at Miscellaneous Events > AC Restore Response.
This way Comfort will dialout in case of AC power restore and say Restore 1 (when the phone type is programmed as voice).

Hendy,
Why system only provide (Security Type Settings > Alarm Types) 1 unused alarm type e.g. Alarm Type 28. , but why won't system provide a few more unused alarm type for those who want to have their personal setting?
thanks..

Alarm Type Family Care is also a spare alarm type which can be assigned as you like
