Apart From Setting up the Zone Types And Getting A C-Bus Group Adress To Switch ON Away Mode. But i Cannot Set the Alarm To Security Off. the Only Way is through the Telephnone.
What im looking for To Start off With is A Simple 8 Zone Alarm input With A C-Bus GA For Away, Night And Security Off . Any Help or Advice Welcome. im Walking Around Like A Bear With a Sore Head. The reson For The Comfort is i Had A Minder MK 2 ( AKA Thinkboxx Panel For 5 Years ) Worked Fine the Lightning!!i Bought the Comfort Through Clipsal S.Africa And they Have no Training, No Manuals No nothing i Have Read The cbusman.pdf. my Experience With The Old Mk2 Minder Was Great ( Logic And All) So im Starting At the Bottom With This one.:D Hence The Questions.

Welcome to the Comfort forum. I am sorry that you did not get any training or documentation from Clipsal
You can find all the manuals, and technical documentation that you need on the Cytech website  http://www.cytech.biz/
The Product Information page
http://www.cytech.biz/Default.aspx?cmd=2I%2bALjokO7E%3d  has links to Products and Downloads including Manuals, Brochures, Training, Software, Technical Information etc

We believe Comfort is the most documented product in the industry
The logic programming capabilities are very comprehensive and will be as good as what most people have encountered

Regarding your specific questions
It is easy to use a Group adress to arm to Away, Night, Day mode or to disarm, although I would not recommend you to allow someone to disarm a security system by a touch of a button. The Comfort keypad should be used to disarm the security system by entering the user code.
To illustrate, the file cbusdemo1.ccl has assigned Cbus group addresses 4,5,6 to arm to Away, Night and disarm to Security Off Respectively
Look at Events > Counters and look at the Responses assigned to Counters 4,5, and 6. I have assigned standard Responses to Arm to Away, Night mode to the counters

C-Bus sends commands to Comfort via Counters. a Counter number corresponding to the group address receives the value eg 255 for on, 0 for Off and 1 to 254 for a dimming level. The Counter Response is activated when the C-Bus message is received
Comfort supports the C-Bus Security Application. The C-Touch touchscreen is able to show the state of the security zones, alarm, states and armed/disarmed status. The keypad can be emulated on the screen so that you can enter the user code in order to disarm the security system

Make sure you use the attached file cbusdemo1.ccl in the previous post
See the screenshot below of the Counters page where you can see the Response Disarm under Counter 6. You should be able to see the same thing
Disarm is a new Response that I had created to show you how this is done
You can use this as an example of how to program such a requirement

I suggest that you use Comfigurator 2.2.3 (donwload from (http://www.cytech.biz/softwate.html )which is the latest version rather than Mindit which you may not have the latest version of
