Can I use an OUTPUT element to activate a response without operating the Output.
E.g
I want to create a button on the WEB PAGE to MUTE MUSIC on a WHOLE House System.
There are two music systems in the house. They are controlled by RS232 and IR.
If I create individual responses to MUTE both systems, then create a response which will 'DO' both responses.
When I select that response for the ON of the OUTPUT Element on the web page, does it only operate the actions in the selected response ?

Output Elements means that the status of the element is via the specified Output, and Zone Element means the status comes from a zone or input.
Pressing the button for Output element does not automatically change the output state, as the action depends on the ON and OFF Responses
If you use an Output element and the output state does not change when you press the button, then the image display will not change. You can have a button for Mute and Unmute to give you two actions. If you want the status to reflect a change then in your Response, also change the state of the outputs depending on whether you have muted or unmuted the audio
