Thats quite confusing. The tamper header in Comfort has 2 pins. a 3 way terminal block is used to provide an extra connection point to connect the case tamper and the bellbox tamper switches in series The terminals should be 0V - Tamper - TR (Tamper Return) Tamper is the Tamper connection to Comfort. Iif this is at 0V then there is no tamper alarm. 0V is connected through the normally closed switches to prevent tamper The bellbox tamper switch is connected between 0V and TR. In fact this is interchangeable as it is just a switch Hence the Tamper point is connected though the case tamper switch and then the bellbox tamper switch back to the 0V point for proper operation I hope this makes sense If your system has been working I suppose that somehow it was connected correctly although you should test activating the two tampers
