During the "Learn" operation, the UCM/Zwave reads the Zwave nodes fron the Primary Controller, and then it attempts to communicate with each of the nodes in turn.
After this is completed, it starts Comfigurator Read from EEPROM.
If there are many nodes this can take a long time, especially if there are many nodes and some of them are on stand by for power saving and do not reply to a poll - in this case there is a time out before polling the next node.
  • How many nodes are there in your system?
  • Make sure all of them are turned on
  • when leaning, wait for a long time, do not abort as this will lead to invalid data. let the process continue until all nodes are read
