I just tried this again on my phone and can reproduce what you are seeing. I believe it could be because of your phone settings.

If you swipe up from the bottom of the screen does it present the navigation bar ?
If this does it, double click on the dot on the left of the navigation bar so it doesn't auto-hide. You can double tap it again to auto-hide the bar again :-)

I hope this helps. Obviously if this doesnt do it, I've been no help at all :?
