Unfortunately the complexity is hampering me now as I suspect one of the anti-tamper devices doesn't like the cold and is causing the problem. If I just changed the jumper for that zone to NO EOL would it operate simply as an open/closed sensor without it taking into account any of the tamper stuff?
If you want to set to No EOL on the Comfort (using the jumpers) you would have to ensure that the EOL resistors are not connected on the sensor as well, and just connnect the sensor contact to the zone
