Comfort is able to comply with British Standard BS8243 "Installation and Configuration of Intruder and Holdup alarm systems designed to generate confirmed alarm coniditons" for the purpose of signalling to  an ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre)"

This is possible without any Response programming by using the Status Outputs feature in Comfigurator

This allows any outputs to be assigned to the Status functions required for connection to a communicator like Redcare or Dualcom

The application note "Comfort and BS8243" which shows more details about this can be downloaded from http://www.cytech.biz/product_details.php?item_id=492

Note that this works with Comfort 2 Firmware version 7 only, not Comfort 1
