There is no separate application it works with the Apple's Siri. All this stuff is just to support apple's HomeKit framework. That means you are able to use any app from the AppStore that also supports HomeKit. There are a few of them there. Also Apple is introducing with their own app for home control so it should be possible to use it also. Yeah, sure, we could cooperate. It's always easier to work together.
