we had a similar problem with a KP06 which was returned from a customer where it was reported that the LCD would go blank after some days or weeks,
Our repair team found that the LCD module was not fully inserted, it was slightly off. After inserting fully, the KP06 has been on test for several days and the problem has not been seen so far. This may not be the same problem you have
