So am i correct in saying I can do the following?- Get a ucm/eth03, and without configuring it as a UCM (since its not supported in V5), I can use it to upgrade directly to the latest firmware V7 on the main panel with a laptop.
- Once done, I reset the system (will it recognise my still V5 slave?).
- I then upgrade the slave with the programming cable and reset the system again.
- I install the UCM/ETH03 and get it working in its final resting place. (hopefully I can get it working with comfigurator). Will the UCM01/serial still be functional if not?
- I can upgrade the universal UCM if necessary using comfigurator, but it will work without upgrade as far as I can see?
- Alas, looked at my cbus UCM, and it doesn't have a socket for an eeprom, although I'm sure I read somewhere that it can still be upgraded?
ThanksPaul
