Disarming the Security System

The security system can be disarmed by entering the user code and # key on the keypad eg 1234# if the user code is 1234. Comfort can suppirt up to 16 users with different user codes each with 4 to 6 digits.
The keypads (not just  the one used) will announce "Security Off".

When the system is armed to any mode (Away, Night, Day), opening the Entry Door will start an entry delay (default 30 seconds). This delay is for the person coming back to disarm the system. The Entry Time can be programmed in Security > Arming & Disarming.
The keypad will beep slowly during the entry delay.

Engineers Note:
Motion detectors (PIRs) that are in the Entry Path will not cause an alarm if they detect motion during the Entry Delay. Hence all PIRs which are in the path between the entry door and the keypad must have the Entry Path attribute enabled. The Entry Path is enabled for each zone in Security > Zones/Inputs

The entry delay is enabled during Night and Day modes so that the ysytem can be armed even when family members are not at home.

It is also possible to program the system so that opening the entry door in Night and Day modes will cause an immediate alarm, but this means that the system cannot be armed to night mode unless everyone is at home. Other cheaper alarms only work in this way
