Known Issues
  1. Upgrading the UCM firmware via another UCM in the system may result in time out error sometimes. Only upgrade the UCM via the same connection, ie Right click on the UCM and select Upgrade when connected to the same UCM, not from another UCM. The next UCM firmware will fix this
Bugs Fixed
  1. Fixed Bug - UCM/ETH03 upgrading of other firmware by firmware upgrade cable did not work unless Comfigurator logs in before connecting the Programming cable.  This requires ETH03-General  2.14 This does not apply to UCM/USB or ETH02.
Improvements
  1. During UCM  firmware upgrade, if the firmware does not have any changes in the  boot sector, the boot sector is unchanged  so UCM can be reset or powered off if the firmware upgrade fails or is interrupted.  Comfigurator 3.9.4 or above is required for this
  2. If the UCM is upgraded by another UCM via the Comfort Bus, ie select another UCM to upgrade from the one that is connected to Comfigurator, the UCM can also be reset or switched off while doing firmware upgrade.

Notes when upgrading UCM firmware

For continuing firmware upgrade of UCM when the UCM has been reset without power failure - repeat the same firmware upgrade as before.

For continuing firmware upgrade of UCM after power has failed and come back on. The firmware uprade in this state must be done by the direct connection to the PC in Comfigurator, even if the original attempt was by another UCM. Set the ID using the  SW7 shunt of the UCM (even if the COPY button was used to set the ID without SW7 shunts).

To use UCM/ETH03 to upgrade firmware using programming cable, upgrade to ETH03 General 2.14
