On one existing installation we need to add another KP06 keypad next to a KT03 (clients decided they prefer mechanical keys to touchscreen, but they wish to keep the KT03, as well, for zone bypassing, event list, etc.). I suppose that we can simply daisy-chain the bus and power connection to the new KP06 directly from the existing KT03? It is a RS485 bus, right? I ask this because it says in the hookup diagram "Connect Keypad & Door station wiring to terminals in 'star' configuration.". But it seems to me that this remark refers to analog audio wiring (MIC & VOICE). Since we obviously don't need two intercom units one next to the other, I suppose, we only need to connect the KP06 to VOICE line (for system messages). Right? May we also daisy-chain this connection or do we need a star connection from the panel to the keypad?
