I've now tried turning off the NetMonitor and its no different, most Responses need two 'shots' to get all the thermostats.

Is the heatmiser network topology important? I have 5 x Thermostats, 2 x UH-1 and 1 x NetMonitor. All the stats wire back to the UH-1's with them and the netmonitor wired in a daisy chain, with the UCM daisy chained on from the netmonitor via some structured cabling...
