UCM/4G upgrade problem
#11
I have moved the GSM module up to id 2, it didn\'t change any thing! I upgraded the GSM and the Maincontroller after the power outage, they were the only things I hadn\'t upgraded before the power out.so i have never had the GSM working under Version 7.245, also the software number i upgraded from was 7.000 which doesnt make any sence because I know I upgraded the firmare when i fitted the new board so it would have been 7.164 Also I\'m sure that UCM/GSM Properties, GSM Module Type didn\'t say Not Supported by Firmware hope this helps a bit The sim card woorks in my phone, which i think means the transmitter is working for mobiles See Photo for latest UCM-GSM Mike

I think there is a mismatch between the ARM firmware and the gsm module SIM7600s baud rate  since you say you never had this module working. I will send a different firmware for you to upgrade to

Thanks for this, I look forward to trying the new firmware. :-)Just for clarity I have had this unit working but not since the power outage of 48hrs and a firmeware upgrade to 7.245.Mike

Can you check if the red and green leds on the gsm submodule (not on the baseboard)  are on or blinking. If none of the leds are on, the Submodule may be dead

The red one between the aerial is Off then solid on , then flashes red . This repeats every minute
The green power is hard on.
It looks like a normal one of your working UCM’s :-)

Thats good. That means my guess that the baud rate between the UCM base and the GSM submodule was mismatched. Check if you have any problem with the time update from gsm giving the wrong results many tomes a day.
