Announcement on Night Mode.
#1
Hi all,
Had a look, and couldn\'t find any topic specific enough.
I had just ran the cable to my garage, to include it in the alarm system. It will have a garage door and access door contacts and a PIR.
Currently my alarm system will check the zones before setting Night Mode. If a zone is open, then it will not set, announcing \"Security Off\".
I am looking at an announcement made after \"Night Mode\" activation - \"Garage is secure\" or something like that, if the garage doors are closed. If one of the garage door contacts are open, then an announcement of \"Garage is not secure\".
Can anyone advise on the steps to set this up in Comfigurator?
Many thanks.
Sorry, just realised that this is in the wrong section. Can a moderator move to the correct section.

If you press the keypad key for arming to Night Mode, the keypad should announce the open zones eg \"Garage Door\". It will not say \"is not secure\" as the announcement of the zones tellls you that the zone is open
It should not immediately go to security off when a door is open. I am not even sure how your system acts that wayCan you send the cclx file to support@cytech.biz

Sorry tech07,

You are right, I checked with the garage door sensor open and it does announce the zone it is left open. I\'ve had a rethink about this and decided that no announcement is enough to confirm that the garage is indeed secure. Thanks.
