Yes, if you tick the \"Announce\" check box, it will announce zone names in all security modes. So untick the \"Announce\" check box.
I suggest you to create a response for \"Zone On Response\"(see attachment). It will announce zone names in Night Mode only.
If you do not want it to cause alarm, you can use PIR Away as the zone type, it is disabled in Night Mode.
One more question... One of my PIR sensors is set at the Entry, so when I execute night mode, other zones announce as expected, however, the Entry PIR starts the Entry delay when triggered.
Is there any ways to disable this just for Night Mode, without overriding this zones Entry status in Away mode for example
Assign zone type PIR Away so that it is active in Away but not in Night and Day Modes.
You cannot arm to night mode if someone has not come home yet, as that will not start an entry delay. It is more secure to be able to arm even when someone is out late
This shows why you should have a door contact as Entry door instead of a PIR.
PIR should be for internal detection, not to detect entry
