Tamper Inhibit with Eng. Code
#1
Would it be possible in a future upgrade to have the cabinet tamper inhbited automatically when the engineer code is entered, and stay inhibited until you sign out of engineer mode?

Also on the next pcb revision would a 6 pin header be possible that you could plug in a keypad, it would make working on the system so much easier.

Maybe the keypad would need a special firmware so that you could just plug it on and off like ucm 1

Yes that could be done, but there is a danger that the engineer would forget to sign out of engineer mode (not many people know how to do that)?
Then tamper would be disabled until system is  armed or midnight which may not be so bad

For the KP header, the difficulty is finding space for the header but that is good suggesttion

Maybe for the interim a small pcb could be made that piggybacks on to KaKB 12v Com & KP Mic Spk, simlar to the broadband filter?

The problem with these pcbs which plug in to the connectors is that it may cause the connections to be intermittent if there are several wires connnected to it. The weight may cause the pcb to strain. We are still looking for a good solution
