[sup]I have recently created a larger button icons on KT03 keypad, however when I first installed the files it was ok, but when refining the functions and reloading the file the edge of the boxes drag down I have tried altering box sizes moving updating firmware downgrading firmware using the original file etc but to no avail, if you have had similar problem and have resolved it, please let me know how you done it. I have also inserted picture of the misalignment. [/sup]
Yup that\'s correct just on the right hand border (landscape mode). I am going to re-write the whole file to see if that cures the problem, Although all the functions work, what concerns me more is that if I have to write a screen for a customer who requires larger buttons it will not look very professional (So far I haven\'t had to do this). I wont be re-writing the file\'s for a couple of weeks but will update post if it works.
Hi,Swiss-Toni, We already found the reason causing the problem (when button border is rectangle and X coordinate is near 320 of LCD)in firmware, already fixed and testing now,you can upgrade in next firmware release, sorry for this and thanks for your feedback!
Thanks, I will keep an eye out for the new firmware, appreciate the new beta firmware that allows you to upload files and upgrade firmware saves dragging a laptop round with a usb cable and pulling of the front bezel (forever having to re-solder wires back on).
Forgot to mention, I recently uploaded the latest firmware, this had to be done by the old method of USB cable the alignment issue has been completely resolved.
Upgrade firmware by KT03 USB is fastest
However if you have Comfort version 7 and UCM version 7, then you can upgrade by Comfort Bus without having to remove the KT03 faceplate or having to be near the KKT03. The time is longer about 15 to 20 minutes
