The new addition of KP04 is not registered to Comfort system?
You need to set the Number of Keypads = XX; where XX is the actual number of keypads connected to the system.
Also ensure there is no ID clash between the keypads.

Also check the MIC/VOICE connection from control panel\'s KP MIC/VOICE is going to KP04\'s MIC/VOICE respectively.

What do you mean \"there is beeps and you can log in and out ok\"
what is displayed on the LCD?

the sreen is working normaly and displays all the normal infomation. You here a beep from the speeker when the numbers are pushed to log on and off the system seems to work ok exept you dont here and voice from the keypad sutch as security off when you use this keypad to disarm the system but you can here the voice from the main keypad.
as an other example if i do a security chech F 32 i can here all the open secters on the main Keypad but nothing on the KP04

This is your old KP04? Was it working on the Comfort I before? Do you have the serial number?
I suspect there is a problem with the connecting cables
Can you remove the KP04 and connect it to the place where the main keypad is?
You can also move the main keypad to the connnection where the KP04 is ie swap the two keypads. No need to change the ID jumpers
The result will show where the problem lies

Thanks sorry for the delay. I have swapped the key pads and it didnââ¬â¢t work in either position. But what I have noticed is the it is working the volume is just so low even if I turn it up full i can just here the speech when i put my ear to the speaker. I think i need a new door station ??.

You probably need a new KP04 Keypad if you swapped to another position and there is no voice
I donbt see why you would need a new Door station

Also check the KP04 volume setting
Sign in with user code to go to the user menu, press 7 for Volume. Volume should be 50 for normal operation
i have placed my old KP04 on my new vershion 2 system and cant get it to anounce system off or any other words. there is beeps and i can log on and of ok. I have a KT 03 on the main door and it works fine any ideas.
