IP rated PIRs for bathrooms
#1
After an extensive trawl of the net and even ringing up a supplier nada.

Closest I have found is mains occupancy ones that switch lights off.

Any one found any / use any / point me at any?

Cheers

Why PIRS for the bathroom?

Maybe you can try an Outdoor PIR - I guess these would be IP rated

2 reasons really - first is I am retrofitting the upstairs and there are no window contact switches *grrrrr*

second as a way to switch off lights when no movement.

External ones are pig ugly!! :-)

I used standard pir in my bathroom! Been fine for the last ten years! Obviously not above the shower etc! Only thing is in the en suite as it\'s small tends to get quite steamed up and when that happens the pir is les sensitive until the mist clears!!
