Is it possible to use the UCM Universal to upgrade the UCM Ethernet to the new firmware - I have a USB to 232 lead for my computer but was not sure how to go about it?

No you cannot use the UCM/Universal to upgrade a UCM/Ethernet. The UCM/Universal is not directly connected to the computer so is not able to do the upgrade
However I dont think you have a UCM/Universal , as they have not been sold yet?

Yup I have a universal its just about to get connected to my RAKO system (I got it back around Christmas time but have been busy doing the garden in between!)

What is the firmware version of your universal ucm?

I just upgraded it yesterday to 5.227 when i upgraded the comfort one to 5.217 is there a later one now?

That is the latest one but I did not realise that anyone had this UCM. Do you have teh instructions how to use it? And have you had any problem?

Chiu sent me the instructions a few months ago but I have not started playing with it yet I will probably start on it in nect couple of days :-) No doubt I will be asking for help / advice :-)
