The problem is not the keypad. The red and green leds on your Comfort are both turned on steady. This means that there is a mismatch between the Comfort firmware and the File System that you have transfereed to Comfort.
This locks up Comfort until you transfer the correct file system, hence the keypad will not do anything.
In Comfigurator, check the bottom right to see the file system which you have open
The File Systems and their firmware relationships are:
Comfort II Ultra -- File System 34
Comfort II OPT --- File System 31
Comfort I Ultra --- File System 24
Comfort I PRO --- File System 18
When you open a New File (File > New) there is a window to select thhe Comfort firmware. Make sure you select the Comfort model that you have
Nevertheless if you try to transfer the wrong file system ther is a warning message that you are trying to transfer an incompatible file system into Comfort.
Why does the software allow this, you may ask? There are circumstances where an installer may want to transfer a configuration for another Comfort which has a different file system.
If you have a Comfort I, you may not be able to sign in with Engineer Code when the file system is wrong. You will have to download Comfigurator 2.1.2 from
http://www.cytech-technology.com/temp/so...Single.zip
which allows User code to authorise the transfer process
