More and more spammers are registering and posting spam messages. We apologise if they have caused irritation to our members.
We do try to delete the spammers accounts on a daily basis. No spammer will be allowed on the forum if they try to post at all

Can you not impose a rule that says new accounts need to wait 24 hours before they can create their first post; this would disuade the “create-post-run” idiots or webbots that do this sort of thing?

The forum does not have that option, and thedeveloper has stopped updating the softwareAnyway, many users join because they have an urgent question, so it is better to let them  post immediatelyA better way would be to block certain email address extensions because the spammers are recognisable by their emails, however that is also not an option

Or maybe add a moderation check to the site? Not by letter, but by real person and within 48 hours, the account will be activated. This method can affect spammers

They are obvious and easy to ignore. I\'m not in favour of adding a delay in posting as when you need help it is often urgent.

Yes, spam is inevitable unfortunately. The best we can do is to delete it. It has been reduced because certain email addresses  have been barred

Do we have any volunteers to act as admins to  delete the spam posts? If they post during the night for me, then the posts will stay up for the night
