Expanding the system is just about to start :-) and I wondered if anyone had any suggestions that would help me out.

Upstairs I am planning to add 3 new smoke detectors - anyone got any thoughts of good ones in the UK? Ideally they would individually feed back to Comfort on activation so I knew where the smoke was but also all sound if one went off so my deaf dad when he stays would hear one right outside his room!

The other thing was does any one know of some good Wireless sensors - I need to add a PIR to the downstairs toilet with no hope of having wires in. I also want to put one in the shed along with a door contact switch - anyone used any that work well or read any good write ups?

On a more general note are the new dual sensors all much of a muchness - any one got any favourites?

Thanks

Stuart

Visonic and Risco make good wireless sensors. They have Wireless receivers with 1 and 4 outputs which are connected to Comfort inputs

Thanks Cleaner - very helpful - looks like the Visonic are easy to get hold of here in the UK. Thats the wireless sorted :-)

Anyone got any reccomendations for smoke detectors and general PIRs or are they much of a muchness?

Stuart

Visonic has wired PIRs as well. There are so many manufacturers of these

I\'m using these from AICO in the UK. They are mains powered and mounted on the relay backplate I connect them to Comfort zone.
