Hi,
Up till today, I hade 3 UCM's, now I have only 2!! I will explain.
This mornings config
UMCT ETH:- ID 1
Ucm CWM:- ID2
UCM Velbus:- ID3
I removed the UCM/CWM as I am no longer using it, and as expected got a comms error. I change the comfort config, and removed the ucm cwm, but still got the error.
So I figured, I needed to change the ID of the UcM Velbus to 2! So I did this, and all alarms cleared, but traffic to the velbus stopped working.
Did a reset of main board and ucm velbus and this still failed. Did read from eeprom for the velbus unit, and saved/wroite to eeprom etc and no change! Did a learn, and the unit seemed to identify all my velbus modules.
Couldnt get it to work at all until I returned the icm velbus ID to 3!!
Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Eamon

Do you mean that the commands to the Velbus ID3 stopped working or the Velbus to Comforrt commands stopped working?

Well, if I scan comfort picks up the modules so velbus seems to be working! When I change ucm id to 2 the only difference is that my velbus responses no longer work!
Perhaps comfort is sending the commands to the old ucm id?

If you examine the Responses that send commands to Velbus you wil find that it is still addressing the old UCM/Velbus ID of 3.
Comfigurator does not automaticallly change the UCM ID of Responses which send commands to Velbus when you change its ID, so you will have to use the Response Wizard and do it manually

Hi thanks
So, just to confirm, I need to do the following:-
Change my ucm Id to 2
Manually edit my velbus responses by deleting the velbus command within it and adding it again!
Do I need to do anything with the counters which ate associate to my velbus channels ?

You do not need to delete the velbus Responses and add again
Just use Response Wizard, and change the UCM ID to the correct one
You do not need to change the counters
