I downloaded and tried 2.9.10 today and there are still smartfit errors even with the standard smartfitdemo ccl file. You seem to have fixed some but not all of the Smartfit response errors?
Any advice on what to do next? Wait for the next build?
J
p.s Could we have a "What's fixed in this build" list so we can determine when to test with our respective configs.

Also I get the following error when clicking on the "Reminders" and "Time Programs" nodes under "Schedule" when using the smartfitdemo CCL file though doesnt do on my main config that I converted from 2.2.3.
J
ps. Went back to 2.9.9 and it works so this seems to be a regression. Then went back to 2.9.10 again and confirmed it fails.

They say things come in threes.
In 2.9.10 if you select System information from the menu bar and enter the engineer code you get the error below.

Apologies, we still have a problem with the Smartfit Scheduler actions
The Time Programs and Reminders errors were due to the original file having 16 Time Programs (instead of 32) and 8 Reminders (instead of 16) which were not extended when converting to the new cclx format
For the System Information problem, were you using UCM/Ethernet?
We will get the remaining problems fixed as soon as possible as we have a deadline in mid february to get to a release version

Yes I'm using UCM/Ethernet.
Thanks for the feedback on the other issues.

Yes, the UCM/Ethernet does have a problem with Read from Comfort, but not so with the RS232 interface

Would it be possible to have the "Show Status" checkbox in the control menu when the "feedback Type" is "Sensor". Been trying to check the Temp of SCS 1 in basically anything!
Reports correctly from the Keypad so that part works well.
I couldn't see any way of checking the value though in 2.9.10; is there a way?
In 2.2.3 it does show the value and seems to be always zero and I cant do a get sensor value as it says action is invalid (this reported previously on another thread).
Also checked in Wizcomfort but that hasn't kept pace with later versions of comfort from what I can see so can't display sensor values. How about you guys doing some work on wizcomfort after 2.9.x is released as would be great to get a new version of this? If it's not being developed any more then what about making and posting as Opensource so at least people can have a go at updating themselves.

In anticipation of the arrival of my comfortII panel, I have been busy putting together my config file :-). I decided I would use 2.9x Beta for it (why not!!) might as well.
Here is one prob I noticed, although this may be due to something I am doing as oppossed to an actual bug. Not sure if similar thing would happen in earlier versions of comfigurator.
For example
if flag sunset 0
Then do reponse "hall light off" after 180 sec using hall light timer.
Else
Do response "hall light on"
I might go back and check this reponse later and find it has "changed" to
if flag sunset 0
Then do reponse "ALL HEAT ON" after 180 sec using hall light timer.
Else
Do response "hall light on"
When I noticed this, I did set all reponses to "not fixed" as I thought it might be an issue with this.

Can you send your cclx file to support@cytech.biz so we can check if it is a bug or due to something in your programming?
\By the way you are using Flag Sunset which I presume is a flag you have defined
There is a built-in Night Time Flag which is set after sunset and before sunrise that you can make use of

The Show status for Sensor should be avaiable in the release version
the s?nn command to the UCM will return the value of the addressed sensor nn in hexadecimal
We do have plans for Wizcomfort to be updated after the Comfigurator 3 is released.
I dont know if open source is viable, but if any software developer would like to create their own version, let us know

Hi,
Will send on the file, but just thinking and a few other queries come up. Sorry again if they are basic, but thinking on my feet at the moment, as I am in work. Can you explain the difference between cclx and ccl fiel format ? 2.9x gives you the option to save as either I think.
I am also getting the cwm02, so was playing cwm designer software , and this would not recognise cclx I think, so I tried to save my files as ccl in comfigurator to use.
Sorry, as you said also, the sunset flag is one I created manually, I will be using an external x10 device to detect sunset/sunrise and change flag status.
Now that comfort II is on the way, I've got that expensive feeling that I want to change out my x10 network to cbus, but going into a whole different price bracket now :-0 I have din rail x10 modules, so the wiring should be very similar, might try and do it gradually!!
Regards,
Eamon

ccl files are the format used in Comfigurator 2 cclx are the native format for 2.9.x (eventualy to be released as version 3). cclx files are in xml format
You are correct, only ccl files can be used in CWM for now
Send the file in the format in which you found the problem reported

Hi,
I was editing my previous post as you were replying to it
I was using the cclx format, but last night when I noticed that the cwm design application needed ccl, I just converted to ccl using the 2.9 beta (save as .ccl). Is this okay to do ?

We found a problem in the conversion to ccl
All the zone types have Night Mode disabled.
You can edit the night mode setting in the zone types manually

Should the s?nn work at the moment?
Is the temp sensor on SCS1 then s?08
If so what response should I expect back as I dont think it does anything right now (but difficult to tell as incoming messages on the bus might be masking it)
Also is there a Comfigurator build after 2.9.10 yet (posted 10 days ago) as I'm keen to see if Smartfit errors fixed yet (ie 2.9.11?).
Currently following errors still present in 2.9.10 after opening my live 2.2.3 CCL file:
1 - "Get NightTime" - wizard now creates "GetParameterValue NightTime" but it doesnt convert this on opening CCL file.
2 - Any Smartfit command of type "Smartfit OverrideSchedule..."
3 - "Get SensorRegister n" in 2.2.3 "n" was the name whereas now it is back to the sensor number so convert of CCL fails. As and observation seems to be a bit inconsistent when the name versus sensor number is used!!
Hope this is useful.
Regards
Julian

The new version 2.9.11 is available from http://www.cytech-technology.com/temp/software/Comfigurator2.9.11.zip
The problems mentioned should be fixed
However the known bugs still present in this (and previous) versions are
- Read (Transfer from Comfort) does not work for UCM firmware < 5.160, this gives an error
- Infrared transmit codes do not work from a saved file. They do work if you create a new infrared action and specify an IR file, but once you save the file and re-open it the IR code will not work

This and previous versions of 2.9.x are not able to download or upload to UCMs with firmware 5.159 and below. This will be fixed in the next Comfigurator beta
