Hi All,
Looking at getting an IP based webcam to use as a front door station monitor, plus with the comfort iphone app i would be able do this remotely.
However was wondering if I can do this with the DS01 instead?
From what i can tell the camera in the door station only connects to a TV / monitor, so i wouldnt have the ability to view on a PC / webpage / the comfort iphone app?
Thanks
David

DS01 and DS02 are analog video cameras which must connect to a monitor or TV
However you could connect it to a IP video server or DVR and thus could use the Comfort app to view remotely

I do not have any specific recommendation but Check that any product that you use works well via Safari browser

The Aviosys 9100 is entry level and should work. I plan to test in the next few days.

The Aviosys 9100 is in the database of the IP Cam Viewer (free/lite) product and I have the multiplexed view from a bench DVR (currently with no cameras attached). In 4 camera view it is a little off centre but maybe something that can be fixed. Be aware that although devices are listed they may have caveats e.g. a Samsung DVR gave a message indicating 'the driver has problems and may drop connections'. This is shown once the Type is selected.
