Hi
RS485 terminal on comfort is occupied by four way cable connection with UCM JP2 , AND the DM02 is connected to comfort by ka/kb and 12v /GND -12V/COM (I assumed this connection is alternative to 4 way cable connection )

Kindly advice.

Please note that prior to connecting UCM, DM02 was connected using 4 way cable to comfort and then also it was the same situation (no telephone bell, no SW2 test cell and no lights on at DM02,however before and now both times the light at DS02 is on)

I would remove the cables you have connected ka/kb and 12v /GND on the DM02.
Use one of the 4way RS485 cables and connect that between the UCM and the DM02 so that they are daisy chained from the Controller board to the UCM and from the UCM to the DM02.
Make sure that the UCM and the DM02 are set to an ID of 1.
Load comfigurator and from the modules tab right click on Controller and do a "Scan for all modules" then check the UCM section a General UCM should be listed check the DoorStations section and the DM02 should be listed.
If both devices are now listed then right click on Controller and do a "Write modules and settings to Comfort" the comfort should then reset.

What is the Number of Door stations in Modules and Settings
If it is 0 then Comfort does not poll the DM02

Yes the DM02 has a minimum version before it can be detected by scanning.

There should not be much difference. What is the DM02 firmware version? This is written on a label in the module

The label on DM02 says c017722, and there is another number on the board - PC01-042A.
Now the Status is that I connected the two keypads and changed setting in miscellaneous for doorbell response -67doorphonechime to make my keypads ring apart from phone (is that correct way ?)
