I want to setup a config where I have the option to only announce zones when the system is in Night Mode, and not full alarm (with siren)

Assumption is that if I setup the Announce Checkbox, it will annouce zones in all security modes.

Am I able to do this?

Yes, if you tick the "Announce" check box, it will announce zone names in all security modes. So untick the "Announce" check box.
I suggest you to create a response for "Zone On Response"(see attachment). It will announce zone names in Night Mode only.
If you do not want it to cause alarm, you can use PIR Away as the zone type, it is disabled in Night Mode.

The 1st line should be If Security Mode = Night Mode (Not Security Off)

There is also a topic on this in http://www.comfortforums.com/forum83/105.html called "Programming a Zone to Announce"

Cool - That worked, thanks!

One more question... One of my PIR sensors is set at the Entry, so when I execute night mode, other zones announce as expected, however, the Entry PIR starts the Entry delay when triggered.

Is there any ways to disable this just for Night Mode, without overriding this zones Entry status in Away mode for example

Assign zone type PIR Away so that it is active in Away but not in Night and Day Modes.

You cannot arm to night mode if someone has not come home yet, as that will not start an entry delay.  It is more secure to be able to arm even when someone is out late

This shows why you should have a door contact as Entry door instead of a PIR.
PIR should be for internal detection, not to detect entry
