Hi, I have an original Comfort 1 that has been reliable for many years. Over the last year we got a few false alarms, not very frequent. I assumed it was the PIR and swapped them out which seemed to sort things.
Last night we had an alarm on a zone which I configured in software but is not actually connected to anything. The alarm was not set to away or night mode. I have never had this zone trigger before. Very confused.
Could something be going bad on the main PCB or perhaps a power issue? Is it work cleaning and checking the connections on the PCB every few years as they could work lose?

It’s difficult to say as it could be any of your reasons
Read the event log may give a clue
You should short the zone or program to null zone type if it is not used
