Hi Chiu
Just installed an old system firmware 5.054 as a demo in our new distribution centre
The following is happening.
The Keypad will allow me to set the alarm but not unset it
The KT01 allows me to unset but there is no voice
There is a SCS 3 comms fault on the keypad
I cannot do the transfer with Comfigurator
I enter the engineer code in the box press F0 keypad or the KT01 and press OK
I then get "Invalid logon" message
I even tried with comfigurator 2.9.x.x beta
I have checked all the wiring and there is no shorts. file attached
regards
Niall

First, in Names> UCMs, UCM#1 is UCM/Cbus. This is wrong as UCM#1 should be reserved for the UCM used for programming, as the 1st UCM can be disconnected without getting a Communications fail alarm.
For Comms failure SCS3 this indicates that the 3rd SCS does not have its ID set correctly. Check the ID setting has B shunt removed and others inserted
You can also exchange SCS2 with 3 and check if it as a problem with the particular SCS
To transfer the ccl file to Comfort, you press F0 on the keypad first, then enter the engineer code 6789, not the other way round
When you say the keypad does not allow you to unset what happens when you enter the code and # key. What do you see/hear?
Also 5.054 is beta firmware. You should really upgrade it with an MPU01. It has quite a number of bugs although they may not be related to your problems. Where did this system come from

Oops! I had the C strap out on the SCS
Sorry I didn't make my self clear, I do press f0 first.
I was able to transfer to the panel last week but when I went to send up some changes yesterday I had this problem.
I thought that you had to use the engineer code programmed in to panel?
The Keypad keeps beebing the Entry tone and eventually goes in to alarm
As for the origion of the panel, It must be from our first order of Evaluation kits, it's in one of the old key lock boxes that the evaluation kits come in

You may have changed the codes when you programmed the panel?
When the system is unset, enter the user code (1234?) and # and see if it can sign in. Also try F0 and the Engineer code 6789# This will determine if these codes work

I am glad this was sorted out by phone
For thr benefit of others on the forum, the problems were- The beta Firmware 5.054 does not work with the current tuning parameters causing the voice on keypads not to be heard. When the firmware was uipgraded to 5.113 using a MPU01 the keypads could be heard. The firmware can be upgraded to 5.164, which is the current releaded version.
- Engineer Code could not work - The Engineer Code enable key F0. Normally you press F0 and the engineer code 6789#. However, the "Require Code" option was enabled as this is a requirement for EN50131. . Hence when F0 is pressed, the voice says "Please Sign in". It is actually asking for the user code here. The Engineer code cannot be used at this point because it has not been enabled. Enter the user code and # key to allow this function key to work. This enables Engineer code.
