Hi,

Can UCMO5 (version 5.156) be used to download the word list to KP04? The manual says UCM01 (version 5.72 and above).

I need to do this because the KP04 shows wrong words for the zone activations.

I am using a Comfort I board with firmware ULTRA 4.230.

Also when down loading the word list using the "LCD Keypad Language customization software", the instruction say disconnect the KA/KB from the main board J15 and connect the UCM KA/KB to Keypad KA/KB.

Does this mean I power the Keypad and UCM and connect the keypad KA/KB directly to the UCM KA/KB and then download the software?

Regards
Tom

Yes the UCM05 is an advanced version and a replacement for UCM01 so it can be used for this purpsoe

You are correct, power the keypad and UCM using the existing wires and disconnect KA/KB from the Comfort and connect it between UCM and keypad to do the download
It is not a simple procedure. Consider upgrading to Comfort II by buying a Comfort II PCB only. This will allow you to benefit form all the new features and those to come

I suspect that you did not have KA/KB connection to the main board.  Please check that.

After signing in, then you will be prompted to disconnect KA/KB from main board ;)
