The last version of Comfigurator 2 can be downloaded from http://www.cytech.biz/comfigurator_v2.html
Comfigurator 2 should be used for Comfort 1 systems only. Use Comfigurator 3 for Comfort 2
This is a minor version release but it incorporates some useful features which were requested by users; eg comments in Actions, System Information from Comfort saved in the ccl file.
Sunrise/Sunset Responses have also been added
V2.2.3 19/11/2007
Bug fixes- Fix incorrect upload of alarm type name
- Show Miscellaneous Events -> User Responses as references
- Show Reminders as references
- Fix problem with X10 received responses reverting to housecode A for FS18 and FS31
- Handle Open Door action id as doorstation id, not UCM
- Reminder message on All Doorstations should use id 48, not 32
- Increase timeout for sentence download operations
- Fix bug in editing tuning parameters
- Fix Reminders 9 to 16 On/Off settings download wringly
- Reminder message on All Doorstations should use id 48, not 32
- Increase timeout for sentence download operations
- Fix bug in editing tuning parameters
- Fix Reminders 9 to 16 On/Off settings downloaded wrongly
New Features - Add comment to response action (editable in Select Action dialog)
- Save Comfort version information in CCL file (viewable in General Information screen)
- Monitor window can now be resized and minimised
- Add sunrise/sunset times for Vietnam
- Emphasise warning when attempting to download incompatible filesystem
- Number nondetector alarms
- Add Miscellaneous Events: Sunrise Response, Sunset Response, Door Station Voice On Response, Door Station Voice Off Response
- Sort word list alphabetically in printed worksheet
Known Bugs- Timer 64 causes Unknown Exception Error
- Optimise Responses Option causes Sunrise and Sunset Response to be disabled. Please DISABLE "Optimise Responses" in the Options menu
- Entry Alert Response 7 PM to 7AM do Response - does not work
- Sunrise and Sunset Responses do not show as referenced in blue in Responses
- City is not saved in the ccl file for Sunrise/Sunset but the sunrise/sunset times are saved
- When a "Do Response After Timer" Action is edited in Response Wizard AND the value of the timer is greater than 255, the wrong Timer name is selected in the drop-down list. When editing, be careful to select the correct timer name before pressing OK, although if you press OK without changing the Timer name, the action code still remains correct
- In Security > CMS, if the Account Code is less than 6 digits, the leading digits 00 are added. eg 4567 becomes 004567. Change using the keypad Engineer Menu 4 for Phone Numbers, select Phone 1 or 2 , 1 for Type CMS, 1 for Monitoring Station Code and enter the account code and # key, eg 4567#. This bug was from Comfigurator 2
From Comfigurator 2.2.0 onwards, Engineer Code (default 6789) is required for download. User Code is not allowed for download
In order to auhorise the use of Engineer code, you need to press F0 on the keypad in order to authorise Engineer Code.

Many thanks for this. The improvement to the monitor window is wonderful.
I can't seem to get system information into the general information page. Not sure why - it comes up when I call up system info from the transfer menu, but does not populate the general information page.
Please can you explain a little more about how to add comments to response actions (I can't find 'Select Action'). Also how do the user responses work - in other words in what circumstance are they executed? Finally, when do the new door station voice on responses happen?
Thanks for your continued help which is much appreciated
GS

The System Info goes into the General Information screen when you download or upload. It does not do so with the Transfer System Information upload alone
The purpose of this is to record in the ccl file all the system infomation whichcan help in troubleshooting and ither purposes
The Action comments window will open when you enter actions in the Response Wizard
The Monitor Window changes to allow it to be minimised and resized will help to allow it to be kept open while doing other editing in Comfigurator. Sometimes closing the screen may freeze Comfigurator, so the ability to get Monitor Window out of the way helps

Thanks that's really helpful.
Can you also please explain when the 'door station voice on' and the 'user' responses are executed? The door station response is obviously new, but I have not had any success in programing the user responses previously.

The User Responses are meant for the Comfort fingerprint reader, see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum43/235.html
Each user recognised by the FPR can activate the corresponding User Response, to arm or disarm the system, to unlock the door, turn on lights etc
The User Responses are not activated by the keypad sign in
Door Station On and off responses are associated with the DM02 Door Station Module which works with third party intercoms. Some intercoms only turn on the audio when their handset goes offhook. Theses responses allow users to program relays to simulate the intercom handset going offhook and onhook so that the audio can be connected between the intercom and Comfort

Hi
I downloaded version 2.2.3 becuase I had some problems with the response wizard viz. I could not position Exit Response from a nested If.
After installing 2.2.3, I lost my .ccl file ?
How can I get it back ?

Comfigurator does not delete any files that was not installed with the program. That is a function of Installshield, the installation program and not of Comfigurator itself.
Perhaps it was accidentally deleted and you can look in your Recycle Bin?

No ability (I think) to have a comments only line without exiting the wizard and going manual. If implemented would need delete also.
When testing complex logic it is sometimes good to put the ! in front of a command line to temporarily remove it from processing.

You cannot put in a comment by itself on a line.
Comments on each line after an action have been implemented in 2.2.3
if you need to do so I suggest after the wizard when you review the response, go into Manual and add in comments on separate line as needed. At this poimnnt you are in a bettr position to think what coments are needed rather while you are trying to enter the action

Bug discovered in Comfigurator 2.2.3 (probably older versions as well). The use of Timer 64 will cause an "Unknown Exception" Error
If you have used Timer 64 which results in Unknown Exception, use a text editor to change Timer 64 to another timer

Bug discovered in 2.2.3. When OPTIMISE RESPONSES is checked in Options menu, the Sunrise and Sunset Responses are disabled. Please uncheck the OPTIMISE Response option

New Bug found in Comfigurator 2.2.3
Please take note of the following if you still use Comfigurator 2.2.3. This issue has been added to the "known bugs" list in the original post in this topic
When a "Do Response After Timer" Action is edited in Response Wizard AND the value of the timer is greater than 255, the wrong Timer name is selected in the drop-down list. When editing, please be careful to select the correct timer name before pressing OK
Even if you press OK without selecting the Timer, the action has the correct timer number, and does not use the incorrect timer number
