What's my latest upgrade option?

The attached image shows my current Comfort config according to Comfigurator 3.1.1. I haven't ever upgraded any firmware since I changed from Comfort 1 to Comfort 2 Ultra, so I'm still running whatever firmware it came supplied with, and I'm guessing there have been a few update releases since then!

I do have the flash upgradeable part fitted, and a couple of the newer UCM's that are able to do the flash upgrade process. I even have the programming cable connected permanently at the Comfort CPU end (not connected at the UCM end) - You may recall I asked about this a couple of years ago when the flash parts first came along, since it was ridiculously impractical not leave the programming cable connected at the cpu end, since the flash module is completely obscured by the LEM which sits above it on the pillars. - To physically connect up the programming cable at the comfort CPU end each time would involve almost completely dissassembling the system - removing all the cables going to all the LEM zones, removing the LEM etc. - basically a complete nightmare! - The discussion we had at the time essentially came to the conclusion that it should be OK to leave the programming cable connected at the CPU end, leaving the UCM end disconneted except when actually being used for programming...

So I guess its about time I did an upgrade, and I want to research the process again before I charge in & maybe break something... Firstly, I'd like to know what the latest firmware version is, and read the release notes for all the releases after 5.113 so I am familiar with exactly what has changed between then & now...

I believe I'm also a few releases behind the current vocabulary as well? - again, I've never done a vocabulary upgrade, and I've read quite enough posts in the forums highlighting some horror stories where vocab upgrades have apparently barfed a Comfort system - something which I absolutely do not want to happen here!

So my next question is exactly what, if any, dependencies are there between firmware & vocab upgrades? - i.e. if I upgrade to the latest firmare, is an upgrade to the latest vocab a *requirement* - or can I leave the vocab well alone?

Thanks

P.

The current comfort firmware is 5.169 and UCM is 5.192

You need another UCM to upgrade a UCM, so if you have a friend with a UCM, you can upgrade eacch others UCMs to the latest before you proceed.
The latest UCM (at least after 5.178) has improvements which make it better for upgrading the firmware of other modules so do this first

Voacb upgrade - Yes some people seem to have problems I think because of the time if takes, more than 20 minutes and sometimes the PC gets interrupted
However if it fails for any reason then you can also repeat it
If you do not use the latest vocab then some words in the sentences will not be corrrect but no major problem

I actually have 2 suitable UCM's of my own, so I can upgrade both my own UCMs...

So I guess I'll do that first, - is there a post on here that has detailed, precise, clear instructions on how to complete that process? - I do NOT want to get it wrong...

cheers.

The UCM Manual section 7 has the most detailed  description of the process
Make sure your programming cables are the right way - the two ends on the UCM doing the programming, and  the single end on the device to be programmed
The PP2 shunt should be inserted on the device to be programmed
The device being programmed should not have any other connections to it except for the programming cable
