I am posting this on the forum to make people aware that we have applied for approval with the SSAIB to become an accredited alarm installer.
It may be beneficial to Know that we have tested a comfort unit using a test account at a central monitoring station in the UK and I can confirm that Comfort was able to be set up with ease using contact ID and all the tests that we conducted were satisfactory.
I think that in the past the monitoring side of comfort has been over looked as it was thought to be complicated and expensive. .........
The fact is that Comfort does NOT require STU or digital dial out units added on - it will simply dial out over the phone line. This makes comfort a very attractive proposition if monitoring is a requirement.
