Hi.
I've just added a UCM/Heatmiser to an existing configuration with Flags, Counters etc set up, but I am receiving an error in the bottom left hand corner of Comfigurator, 'Heatmiser Data Error'. I can see there is reference to this in the UCM manual, but with no further information. What will the UCM be detecting that causes this error to appear?
Possibly relating to this problem there doesn't appear to be any reporting back through Flags or Counters for thermostats 11-14 (1-7 are fine and report back; there are none configured as 8, 9 and 10). I have checked all wiring connections and it seems ok. The Heatmiser network works fine on all stats through Heatmiser Netmonitor.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The data error appears to be a CRC error from Heatmiser which appears occasionally
We are not sure why it happens but it does not seem to cause much problems
Can you send your cclx file to support@cytech.biz so we ca investigate the other matter of flags and counters
Is there any reason why the heatmiser numbers are not continuous 1 to 11?

Hi. Thanks for the reply.
I have sent the file over.
The only reason for the gap in numbering is to indicate different floors of the building, i.e. 1* is a stat on the first floor.

The Netmonitor is also a controller on the Heatmiser RS485 bus, as is the UCM/Heatmiser
If left on the netwoork during a Learn, it could cause errors so it is best to remove the Netmonitor while learning
This will be added to the UCM/Heatmiser manual

We have found that the "Data Error" status sometimes may appear. This means a CRC error. This can be ignored normally if it does not constantly re-occur. The status of counters, flags and sensors will not be in error as it is updated periodically from Heatmiser according to the Properties tab
