Hi I have just purchased a comfort ultra 2 control panel. I have also got a rako lighting system. For both systems to communicate with each other and for me to program the control alarm via Ethernet would I need both the universal UCM and eth2 UCM, or can one be bought with add on modules??

Thanks for your reply. Is there also a Ethernet add on module that I can attach to the universal UCM to allow me to program comfort via tcp/ip or do I need to purchase both the UCM/eth2 as well as the universal UCM?

The Universal UCM and UCM/ETh02 have different functions
he UCM/ETH02 (or USB) works on the Comfort prototol at 9600 baud only and is used to program Comfort. It can also be used to communicate with 3rd party products which can work on the Comfort protocol
The UCM/Universal does not work on the Comfort protocol. It can be configured for any baud rate and to match the protocol of a 3rd party product, and can send and receive commands
