It happened yesterday - armed the system to night mode, which allows us to move around upstairs, lights come on, etc.
Except tonight the alarm went off. Seems KeyPad 2 armed the system to Away mode. Except I have only 1 keypad.
The only change on the hardware is to plug an extra UCM into the COM port of the homeseer machine - but nothing configured to use it - the plugin to comfort still uses the network ucm. Only other change on the programming is changing the light sensor logic (as the sensor was going a bit bad going on and off for a bit until totally dark).
And earlier that morning I had added the 5.72 firmware
I've checked all the arm repsonses i think are in there and their dependancies but cant see anything new that would force the system to arm.
In the end, I just had to power down the system for the night.
Before i did this, I loaded wizcomfort onto that new local com port to the extra UCM. This is a UCM I got from Andrew that I sent back to him originally because i couldnt get it working - but only now due to being rather busy on other things have tried to use.
This is the log from WizComfort when it decided to arm itself. Note : it also armed to away mode in the middle of me looking at the homeseer log and it was in security off mode.
So, why and how is the system arming itself !

The system was requested to arm at 11:44:50 PM
ER00 means no open zones
EX0204 means exit delay started for 4 seconds
after a few lines MD015B means Mode changed to Away by user 91 (5B in hexadecimal). User 91 means the "user" was a Response. It was not keypad 2 which initiated it. This could mean that a Time Program or some other trigger for a Respo nse was responsible. As the system did not ask you to "Please exit" that also means that it was not done via a keypad
AL13 etc means Alarm Type 19 (13 hexadecimal) happened which is System Armed
I cant think of anything else except checling the Responses again based on this info

We have fiinally found the cause of this problem
Response 427 System HappUpMov
If Input LightSensor = 0 Then
If SecurityMode = NightMode Then
Stop Timer CBUSHallUp
CBUS On 2 38
CBUS Ramp4 2 1 20
Do SYSTEM-HallUpOff [Timered Response for movement trigger] After 360 Seconds Using CBUSHallUp
End If
End If
If Counter OfficeB4 = 255 Then
CBUS On 2 0
End If
The action
Do SYSTEM-HallUpOff [Timered Response for movement trigger] After 360
is calling the wrong Response, Force Arm to Away instead of SYSTEM-HallUpOff
There is an obscure bug in Comfigurator which was difficult to trace
This wil be fixed in the next release
