Hi

wifey came home and tried to disarm (she's unsure whether she keyed the wrong code the first time but was sure the second time) but the alarm wouldnt disarm and went off. Latter she tried my codes and I also tried dialling into Comfort, every know code I tried it refused, we had to pull the power on it to stop the alarm. I've now powered it back up and it almost seems its lost all its config, 1234 is the only code it recognises, heres the relevant log entries with some preamble - I havent reprogrammed it yet in case theres more I can pull off it - running verion 5.113

The events at 18:10
08/20  18:10 Delete User #
08/20  18:10 Unknown Event #32, 255
08/20  18:10 Sign in - User #, 6
00/00  18:10 Sign in - User #, 6
08/20  18:10 Delete User #, 6
08/20  18:10 Alarm Type #EntryWarning (21)

show that the user codes were erased
event 32 means mailboxes erased

Could she have pressed 9,5,0,1  after enterg the code?
How many users are there?
The event log indicates at least 6 users

The config has not been erased, only the sign in codes

I sugest add the user codes again and monitor the situation

her code isnt anything like that, could you actually key in your code (without hitting the # key) and then key commands?

There are 7 user configured but are in slots 1, 8-12, 18.

I'll try add add the users again and see what happens

thanks

Adrian

ok, have tried pushing just the codes down to comfort, it appears to take it (through comfigurator) put none of them work still (except 1234)

I've just done a full transfer (which does the RST at the end), seemed to take it all ok but still none of the extra logins work, only 1234 (and 6789 for ENG) - this is the config its been running since April this year - any other suggestions?

thanks

Adrian

In configurator > modules & settings there is a setting called "write user codes" If unchecked comfigurator will not write the user codes, because they can be changed by keypad

ok, just tried latest version and thats done the trick, I wonder if that command which erased the user codes also changed that "write user code" flag.

thanks for your time
