I have had a comfort Ultra 2 for many years, and in general I have not had many issues with it. However, I am now impplementing x10 controls and have noticed a few issues. So I have tried to upgrade the various firmware (not done since I purchased the equipment) and I am running into a few problems.
I have the following:
1 - UCM01 ( I think it is version 5.63, can you please tell me how I can confirm the version)
2 - KP04 ( Vocab seems to be corrupt as the numbers are not being mentioned on announcements)
3 - Comfigurator version 2.1 ( I downloaded version 3.1.9, but when I tried to upload from it I noticed a few issues, so I reverted to version 2.1)
4 - Various x10 controls
What I need to do:
1 - Can you tell me what is the right sequence to upgrade the firmware for the comfort system, the UCM and the vocab.
2 - I want to connect the comfort to my home network so I believe I need the UCM ethernet version. Can you please tell me what I need
3 - I am also now getting a battery warning message, which is something that I was not getting before. There is nothing wrong with the battery.
Any help that you can provide will be greatly appreciated. I am very lost at the moment in terms of what needs to be done to upgrade the firmware.

UCM 5.63 belongs to Comfort I, and cannot be used to upgrade Comfort II firmware.
If you plan to connect Comfort to your home network then you would need to buy the UCM/Ethernet, and this would allow you to upgrade your comfort firmware, and also use Comfigurator 3
The Battery warning message means that Comfort is detecting a low battery during the 24 hour battery test. Unless you have changed your battery recently, it may need to be replaced as they tend to last about 3 to 5 years
Another possibility is that the battery is not being charged. Check the DC voltage at the battery terminals when it is connected to Comfort. The voltage should be above 13 volts

I am surprised you said that UCM 5.63 belongs to comfort I, as I bought a comfort II system and the UCM came at the same time. So that would mean that I was sold a UCM for a comfort I instead of one for a comfort II. Is there a way that I can check the version on the UCM. thanks
