Pease assist with the following.
1. When you phone in to the system and log in, all the announcements can be heard - 'like 4 for home control' once you press 4 it tells you it is an invalid code. The system operate normally from the keypad. It is only from the internal phone and external phones.
2. A second problem started recently. When the power trips the system use to dial out and announce 'power failure'. Lately it dials out in case of a power failure, but does not annouce 'power failure, but give some code.

What firmware version are you using for the main controller?
What kind of codes are given by the power failure dial-out?

Comfort CPU
Version 5.172
File System 34
Custom Voc No
System Voc Version 29
User Voc Version 1
LCD TYext Version 3
UCM TYPE
Version 5.159
If I recall the codes think it was something in the line of '1 Doorbell code 49?' ' press ? to repeat message'
When the doorbell rings it dials out to the external phone - this function is working normally.

You may be getting "Invalid" for Home Control menu because your control menu does not have the key 1 programmed.
Send the cclx file to support@cytech.biz for us to check if you cannot identify the problem
For the dial out, you may have more than 1 trouble alarm to announce. Comfort will announce only 1 alarm but the event log will show all the alarms. "Communications Failure 49" means the system cannot communicate with the Door station. Check if the Door station is communicating by pressing the doorbell

The problem with Home Control is caused by the access to it is denied.
In the configuration file, the setting for users' Home Control access (under Security > Sign-In Codes) is disabled.
Simply enable the Home Control access in one or more users (depending on the requirement) and the access to this menu will be possible again for the specified users.
