I'm not sure what has happened but during my updates and reprogramming I have lost my Vocabulary, I have tried updating using Myma39 in an attempt to rectify this but I get the beeps on the keypad and then I get a vocab errors message. Can you advise on how I fix this.

I assume you have not gone through the Vocab Upgrade YetThe error means that the vocab is incorrect. If you do the vocab Transfer then you will not get the message

Hi the only option I can find is transfer>Vocab Upgrade, This is where I get the error. IS there another way I should be doing this?

If is normal for the keypad to show not polledThe vocabulary upgrade takes 20  Minutes  You should let it continue in null there is an error messageBut you should upgrade the ucm and comfort firnware beforehand

Hi it dosn't look like it will continue, the error message stays up and if I click OK it closes the progress bar. If I ignore it the progress bar stays on 0% and the keypad says no text data - download aborted.

Can you open  the UCM IO Monitor before doing the vocab upgrade, clear the screen, then after the Vocab upgrade attempt, press Copy to Clipboard and show the resultsAlso please check the serial num ber on the Comfort, C or P with 6 digits

I see that you are using ETH02ETH02 fails when trying to upgrade the vocabulary. It was obsoleted about 7 years ago

I suggest changing to ETH03

So I'm clear are you saying the eth02 is failing so an eth03 will fix the issue?

No ETH002 is not faulty, but it does not handle the Vocab Upgrade, whereas ETH03 canYou can buy an ETH03 submodule to plug in to the UCM to replace ETH02.

Hi I have now replaced the Eth02 with a Eth/PI, I'm still getting vocab errors when trying to upload it. I have attached the log.
***Apologies - Ignore this Matt has just told me that the UCM /PI does not support binary text yet. I will review again when it does ***

I suggest you send the DSP board to Laser. They have a Voice programmer module that can reprogram the Vocab. If that does not work then that DSP board may be faulty and needs to be replaced

Thanks I will wait until the new firmware is released for the UCM PI and try that. Otherwise I will need to take the board out and send it off.
