When dialing in to Comfort, it will answer the call after the programmed Number of Rings and either play the Greeting message, if one is recorded, or if there is no Greeting message, it will say "Please sign in". See http://www.comfortforums.com/forum17/57.html for recording of Greeting Message.
To sign in, press the * key and enter your code followed by the # key
eg *1234#
If the code is correct, the system will enter the User Voice Menu, ie
"Press 1 to arm security system
2 for messages, 3 for security menu, 4 for Home control .."
if the code is wrong you will hear "Wrong Code"
To sign in using the local phone connected to Comfort,
Lift the phone handset, press the * key and the code and # key (same as remote sign in). Each press of the key should give an audible beep tone
If the code is correct the same user menu will be heard.
Note that there may be a problem with phones on a digital line, ie if the phone servce is provided by fiber optic or ADSL box. Such services may block the DTMF tones

My alarm is going off and I can't sign in remotely - it says "wrong code"
I can see on CCTV that the cleaners are in the house. I presume they have (as ever) typed in the wrong code six times and the 'sign in tamper' has engaged.
Is there a way to sign in twice remotely? It doesn't seem to be working.
Trying to avoid a trip home.
Thanks

It is a safety measure that sign in tamper cannot be cleared remotely, as that allows someone to continue entering codes
They can clear it by signing in locally on the keypad (twice) with the correct code

Thanks for the prompt response Chiu.
Format is xxxx#xxxx#?
Does the sign-in tamper effect all codes? Presumably so, as Comfort wouldn't know which code the user was attempting to enter.
Oddly though the cleaners usual code was not disarming, but our visitor code, which I gave them, just disarmed. Entered once. Until I get a look at the log, I am not sure what has happened.
Isn't there a flaw in the logic here though, if someone like a cleaner enters the property and forgets their code, and guesses six times, the alarm goes off, sign in tamper engages disabling remote log in and disarming? I understand why, but this means someone who knows the correct code needs to physically go to the property?

The sign in tamper now requires 1 correct code when entered locally, not 2
Any correct code will disarm, as you say Comfort will not know which wrong user code was attempted.
Remote disarm or clearing of sign in tamper is disabled. Yes someone needs to enter the code locally. If you are sure you know who the person is who is on site, you can give them your code to disarm. You can change your code later. That would save you the trip
