I got a weird problem at two sites, I connect the door station by Cat5e cable to comfort v5.212, the sound between KP & DP is great with the back cover loose, once we fix it and screw it, high Distortion generate and we can't hear any thing, we made sure that the wire is not pushing anything but still got the same result. Appreciate any suggestion

Regards

Which door station are you using DP03 or DS01 or DS02?

Make sure you use the default tuning parameters
Open a new file with default template so that the default tuning parameters are loaded If you use an older file tyhe tuning parameters may not be defaults

If you use DS01 or DS02 there are volume controls for mic and speaker and those should be adjusted lower so thereis no howling sound

For DP03 you should not try to do any tuning of the internal volume control inside the DP03  or in the Comfort PCB MIC and Voice trimmers if they are prsent

If you have done so, reduce the gain until the howling disappears.

In DP03 and KP04 there are some sponge material to help in accoustic isolation
These should not be removed otherwise howling will result
