Hi Palmlodge, do you own a multimeter as it shouldn't be difficult to troubleshoot this problemWhere are you in the UK (in case you are close to me in the NE)?

SE. I do have a multimeter, it's powering up (it flashes every few seconds) but the wiring isn't your standard PIR connector.

Hi, I would disconnect all connection from the sensor to except power then connect your multimeter to the EOL connections on resistance.
1. With the cover removed and the tamper switch open you should read open circuit
2. With tamper pressed in you should read approximately 2.7K (if that is what you have set on the dip switches)
3. With tamper pressed in and the sensor 'shocked' you should see 4.7k (this may be brief and the meter may well not respond fast enough to give an exact reading)
You are correct in that the two EOL connections on the sensor connect to the Comfort inputs and as stated the EOL jumpers on Comfort placed on pins 1 & 2.
These tests will at least show that your sensors are working as expected.

The shocked state is very short. You may not be able to read 4.7K Perhaps you can shake it for a few seconds and see te meter move
