Hi there, I have the following system: 1 x panel (8001/E); 1 x DP03; 1x KP02; 1x KP03-WI; 1 x RGR03.
Despite my Comfort I system working brilliantly for the 12 years, I am looking now to upgrade my system, and would appreciate if someone could look at the list below and indicate if they see any problems or compatibility issues. I appreciate there are other posts on this subject, but as this will be costly would appreciate some member input.
I am looking at the following for the upgrade:
- CP9000-ULT/EN03, control panel x 1.
- LEM03-M2, local expansion board 16 inputs x 1 (max 24 inputs/zones)
- UCM-ETH V3, Ethernet interface x 1
- APB01, ADSL passthrough x 1
- KP06BL-NF, Keypad x 2
- RGR05, ringer module x 1
- Use existing DP03
- Use existing sensors/siren, etc.
- Addition of UCMZwave at a later date - will there be enough connections for this and the UCM-ETH03?
Does anyone see any issue with this?
Many thanks,
Iain

Comfort II ULT can support up to 8 UCMs in the system. Just make sure the ID setting is correct. I suggest you set UCM/Eth03 as ID1 and UCM/Zwave3 as ID2. For ID setting, you can find it in "Detailed Connection Diagram" which can be downloaded here

You can upgrade by getting the CM9000-ULT with the metal plate ACC-PLATE01 which allows the new PCB to mount to the comfort 1 enclosure. You can keep the old enclosure and transformer if these are in good condition
Otherwise there seems to be no problem with your list
The module compatibility is here http://www.comfortforums.com/forum16/1470.html

Martin and Slychui,
Fantastic, it is exactly what I needed to see. It will give me confidence that I am purchasing the correct kit.
Thanks,
Iain
