The Phone version of the Comfort Android app is ready for testing
This works in the same way as the Tablet version except that it is optimised for a phone display. The screens are in vertical orientation and shows 1 page at a time instead of eg keypad and Zones on the same page

The common file conversion web page is at http://www.cytech.biz/crl_comfort_app_convertor.php

Quick Start Guide (common with the tablet version) can be downloaded from http://www.cytech.biz/product_details.php?item_id=371

Hi Ident,

Been using the android app on my new htc one x for a couple of weeks now (thanks i've finally been able to get rid of my iphone now that comfort for android is out :-) )

Anyway, great app, and i realise it is beta, but thought a few observations/suggestions might be worth putting forward.

Accuracy
The accuracy i find is a little hit and miss, it seems less consistent with connecting that the iphone app. In addition to this, I find sometimes when i log in, it does not give correct status of lights (i use velbus). My wife still has an iphone, so on a number of occassions I have compared status of lights on iphone v android and find that iphone is 100% correct, but android sometimes is not.

I suspect the above is something to do with inconssistent logging out/in on the android app, but this is just a gut feeling.

Aesthetics.
Fussy, I know, but I find the iphone app looks more appealling, the blackness of the android app is a little off putting. Something a bit more modern, or even a stainless steel keypad background would be class!

The noise for button clicks is a bit tinny as well! Reminds me a bit like comparing the sound of a vw **** door closing to a fiat uno.... the **** gives a much more reassuring sound :-) That might sound completely insane to some though I admit.

Camera,
I love the camera screen, it actually seems really quick too, but there seems to be issues if you try and go back to comfort control pages, and have to log in again.

Again, thanks for a great app, and freeing me from iphone :-)

Please upgrade to Phone app 1.04 which improves some of these issues
